By accessing or using Torq ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
Torq is designed for users aged 10 and older. Users under 13 must have verifiable parental consent in compliance with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). Users aged 13-17 should have parental awareness of their account.
Torq provides educational content about trade skills. This content is for learning purposes and does NOT replace professional training, licensing, or adult supervision. Users under 18 should always work with adult supervision when performing any hands-on electrical, plumbing, welding, or potentially dangerous work. Torq is not liable for injuries or damages resulting from attempting projects without proper supervision, training, or safety equipment.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may not share account credentials. Parent accounts may be linked to child accounts for monitoring purposes.
Premium subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time. Refunds follow the policies of your app store or payment provider. Free tier access is available indefinitely with usage limitations.
Content you post (community posts, build photos, comments) remains yours but you grant Torq a license to display it within the platform. Do not post harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content. We may remove content that violates community guidelines.
AI verification provides an assessment of submitted build photos. This is not a professional certification or guarantee of work quality. Employers accessing the talent portal do so at their own discretion.
Employers agree to comply with all applicable labor laws when contacting or hiring users, including laws regarding the employment of minors. Torq does not employ users and is not responsible for employer-employee relationships.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through settings.
